Description:
The workshop on School Vision Statement and National Education Policy (NEP) was held on Monday, 26th June 2023.
The session began with an opening prayer, followed by which, the manager, Fr Deepak Sotra introduced the resource person, Sr Prabina Rudum, Professor of Vidyajyoti College, Delhi and the manager of Loreto Convent School, Delhi.
The session entailed teachers being reminded of the significance of the school's vision statement, "Providing holistic and quality education. To mould intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed and spiritually inspired persons capable of building a more human social order within the context of the nation's plurality of religious and diversity of culture".
The teachers were also encouraged to work for their personal growth (reading books, meditation, creative thinking, learning languages, etc.) in order that the school can provide the students with what it claims in its vision statement. The resources person emphasized that “You cannot give what you don’t have".
Sr Prabina ended the workshop by giving basic information about NEP.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms Sonam. A bouquet of flower was presented as a token of appreciation.
